D4198 powder

A buddy and I went splits on a quantity of this powder.the 5lb boxes had two white "kitchen catcher" bags holding the powder.Didn't matter as I transferred the works into an empty 8lb tin of !MR4350 and re-labelled it. I don't think i'd leave the powder in the boxes/bags for long term storage....JMO......Harold

Does the D4198 powder have the burn rate to reliably cycle a 223/556 semi with 55gr proj's?

I don't own a .223 semi so I don't know, but it should work the same as IMR 4198.I'll be using it in the 7.62x39[CZ527],45-70 and .222 all of which I use the IMR version in already.......Harold
