Well... my order came in (thanks to Canada Ammo). Didnt get much time to mess around with the DA, took the upper off and immediately went up to a gunsmith to have him remove the taper pins. I wasnt even going to attempt it after all the discussion here. So I'm (impatiently) waiting for a call back that its done.

I have worked on FSB pins before, and have a stack of punches that became casualties of the process.
I have worked on many name brands, but have not worked on DA or CQ-311 examples.
I was wondering has anyone used the Chain Breaker for Removing FSB Taper Pins offered by TNA??

The problem I've seen with the Chinese FSBs is that during the process of pressing the pins in, both ends get peened over. In effect, making them into rivets rather than pins.
They can not be removed unless you figure out which end is the small one, grind the peened end off the pin, and beat it out from that side.

Yup. Even the chain tool might fail if the small end of the rivet isn't ground flush first.
