So I recently bought a Dominion Arms backpacker from Canada Ammo the other month at the chilliwack gun show. I saw the table had a lot of them with varying issues. the one i found had a tag that said fore arm comes off when shooting, it was a bit loose but for the asking price of 50 bucks how could i go wrong. Finally got it out to the bush and first shot in the shell stuck after firing. had to remove the barrel and give it a good whack.. 2 more stuck shells and i switched to a high brass to see if it was the same issue sure enough it stuck too. Now a little frustrated i looked closer to see a machining mark quarter way round the chamber causing the brass to deform. I contacted canada ammo for help and they suggested a cylinder brake hone or sandpaper. my question is will this not just cause more expansion and more jams? not like there could be more than there already is. I starting to think i literally bought a useless piece of chinese garbage.

I had a shotgun with similar issues (Old Iver Johnson single shot)
I did as was suggested and took a brake cylinder hone to it. Next time out shooting only 1 in 20 shells got stuck. Honed a little more, now it's flawless
