I don't own a Hyundai (the proper spelling) but I don't see anything wrong with it so long the person owns it enjoy driving it.

Same thing here with the Cougar if one decided to buy one the nay sayer no need to scratch their head because it is beyond those people's business.

Now, please tell us how many Westley Richards or Holland & Holland did you own in your collection:D
 
Although some gunowners are ardent in their dislike of Chinese firearms I can't understand the destain towards someone else's freedom of choice.

Hey maybe you don't like picatinny rails or pistol gripped stocks but what difference does it make if you put them on a Chinese gun or a Brazilian gun or a gun made in the USA?

It's ok to pimp out a Remington as one sees fit....but not a clone of a Remington?
 
meh - i own 870Ps, Wingmasters, and Expresses. i dont really see the Grizzly as a 'less reliable' or second-class version of the former... simply just another 870 offered in configurations not available from Remington, about in line (or slightly better than) a typical Express.

the 870 pump shotgun is a very simple design. i have yet to see any actual evidence - not conjecture - that a DA Grizzly is any less reliable than a recent production 870 Express - or any other pump shotgun in its price range (incl. Mossberg, Winchester, etc).
 
It's all dead simple, you're buying a ripoff of somebody's legitimate product, from a Chinese company. Any idea how pissed Joseph Dlask is he can't put out a popular product with more than months to a year's lead before lower quality, cheaper versions are pushing him under in his own design? How about Remington, who actually designed half the crap being plagiarized? If you don't think buying a couple Chinese guns makes a difference, might as well not vote either. The crazy part is it's not like the originals aren't in production either, Remingtons are available anywhere. As for other nations' makes, Brazil, Italy, Germany are all democracies last I checked, China, not so much. So, seeing as this is an open forum to members, you bet I'll comment and that's why.

If you are not even following what's coming in how can you call it crud?

The latest Norinco M4 puts many of the 2000-3000 dollar ARs to shame as far as reliability and function go. The latest Norinco 1911 is another gun that runs like a top and built with some very good quality metal.

Sure some of your posts on the politics aspect may be argued in another forum but when you call the Chinese guns all crud you lose credibility.

Yes, there is something wrong when we have Chevies and Fords built right here in Canada, by Canadian families competing against that Hyundai. The time when people cared and saw a difference is fading, sadly. But, enough of that nobody listens down south, few in the cities care.

And one Holland & Holland, among other fine arms. None of them Chinese. I'm not old, but it seems I'm still a dying breed.
