DA Griz Action Problems

Just took my 12.5 Grizzily pump action out for the first time and put about 50 shells through it. I noticed that I really had to pump it forward to get it to chamber another round. Anyone else have this issue? I'm hoping it's just a break in thing but compared to my 590, which was great out of box, I'm so far less than impressed.

i know the forward stroke on my UTS is pretty hard too. once you get useing it more i see that problem going away. i dont know about the other grizs if they have that problem.

It smooths out after a while.

Mine was a little sticky when I got it in 2008........I'm guessing I'm up around the 20-25k rounds mark now and really slick gun.

Well i have only put a few rounds through it, I guess I will get worried if it doesnt smooth out after 300 or so. I am just so used to my buttery smooth 590 that probably has over 2k through it.
