TBH, since I manage to injured my elbow, I haven't bought any guns yet. So now that my elbow is getting better, I think I can fire a gun now?

While the TD 22 is still in my radar, I noticed the 12.5 12GA in CanAm is selling again. Should I get it as one of the first guns? Or should I get something with 18.5 barrel?

In addition, where can I find a .357 Rossi Ranch Hand? wanstall doesn't have any on their online catalog.

Thank you in advance.

P.S. my elbow can only bend to 45 above 90 degree, and straighten out to ~5-10 degree less than straight out. Anyone oppose me going to the range as it is?

It is OK quality guns. I have one and like it. You have to know how they work as you will need to polish some pa arts as finish from China usually crud .

What do you want the gun for?

I used to have one and its pretty good . Solid build.

I don't think your arm situation is an issue. As long as you can safely operate a firearm lots of ppl have "something wrong with them" and still shoot safely.

A short shotgun that is modular enough to swap to a proper length barrel down the road for the purpose of hunting and possibly skeet shooting.

I guess I will need to test my strength. The elbow in question is my non-main hand, so it will be just used for support and operating the pump. Concern is on the recoil.

Have you shot actual skeet before, or do you intend to learn? A pump action is a good choice for trap, but not a great choice for learning to shoot skeet.

I would look at some of the pumps Corwin Arms has... they are threaded for chokes, come with a choke set, and two barrels for like $30 more.

How did you "injured" your Elbow?

I have the Norinco HP9 and did pretty much what you are planning to do with the Grizzly. The stubby barrel looks cool and is fun to fool around with on the range, but the pattern really opens up, only good for VERY close range. so I ended up sticking a longer barrel on it and some accessories.
A friend of mine has the D.A. Grizzly and it is super fun. The slide locks open on an empty magazine, which was strange to my muscle memory, but you get used to it after a bit.

We have two of the Dominion Arms Grizzly shotguns from CanAm. I got mine in 2007 or 2008 & it has been flawless. CanAm had a sale recently & I bought my wife a 20 ga version, we have not had a chance to try it out but it looks great!

Cheers
Jay

Is a replacement barrel easy to get for the grizzly?

Any Remington 870 (or made for 870) barrel will fit the Grizzly.

The Grizzly is a better quality gun than the 870 Express, so unless you have the option of getting a Police/Magnum/Wingmaster, go for the Grizzly.

I haven't had to touch a thing on my 12.5" Grizzly and the finish you get is well worth the price paid. The quality I found is as good as an 870 Express. The 12.5" is a sweet little flame thrower but one thing to consider is if you want to put a bird heads grip on it you'll need to get the 14" to be legal.
