DA Grizzly 8.5" vs. 12.5"?

Ok with me I have an 8.5 tube fed holds 3 total huge muzzle flash accuracy is very poor. 14 inch fabarm night and day for shot on target 18.5 a little tighter group not allot almost the same. I would go 12.5 unless you like a big flash and a punch in the face everytime you pull the trigger. (muzzle blast hits you in the face and it hurts you get a headache from it)

Would you mind mentioning any particular reasons for that?

- The mag tube doesn't hold any ammo... and with the mag-fed you are not giving any ammunition capacity by going with the 8.5"... so might just as well get a shorter one.
- With slugs, accuracy is about the same @ 25 yards
- I never had the 'urge' to instal a longer barrel on the mag-fed (and I've got other shotguns for that)
- While the 12" makes a nice boom and got a decent muzzle flash... the 8.5" makes a bigger BOOM, and when shooting it at dusk, you'd think you're using a flame thrower :pirate:
(not mine, but you get the idea)

- The 12" will get the range fud talking... the 8.5", well...

If I had more $$ than sense, I'd get Dlask to fit a 6.5" barrel on a mag fed.

I had an 8.5" for a bit. Fun gun. Pretty hefty for it's size. Here it is compared to my fabarm martial pro forces 14":

a couple of weeks ago we had a shoot at the farm were we were firing at clays .lots of different shotguns and shooter ability from beginners to experienced shooters . one young fellow could consistently hit with an 8.5 inch dlask built gun even hitting doubles going away in two different directions .
