Da Grizzly bent 18.5 inch barrel

I emailed Canada ammo and they said I could return it. But I don't want the hassle. I've spent almost $1000 on their website over the past 8 months and was hoping for better customer service

If I understand correctly ; Canada Ammo said that you could return it , so I do not see that as bad customer service as it sounds like they are giving you the option of keeping or returning it . Best of luck....

Well... Then I am unsure about the point of your post? CanadaAmmo said return it, that's what I would do if I was in your situation.

Not sure what else they could do wrt customer service?

Cheers
Jay

I would return it. Honestly if they will take it back I think that represents good customer service in this industry. There are lots of retailers that won't do a damned thing once shipped and force you to deal directly with the manufacturer. That is a bigger pain than you could imagine.

guys, shotgun barrels are curved upwards
look at any shotgun that has a rib on top

So your wanting a free barrel and to keep this barrel and sell or use it for another project? I think their customer service is fine, some of their customers however need to stop feeling so entitled.

I might just get out the torch and hammer and try to fan the muzzle out so I get a wider spread of shot... ( joke )Or return it and see if I can get a replacement barrel. Thanks for all the input ( good, bad and indifferent ) I really appreciate it

Just checked my $199 grizzly . Got a bit of a front up bend also!!!
It's worked and cycled great. Now that I know it's bent.. I just can't get over how lousey the gun is and now it doesn't cycle or shoot any more.
End of sarcasm..... It will be fine...

guys, see my previous post, shotgun barrels are curved upwards
look at any shotgun that has a vent-rib on top.
the vent-rib is straight while the welds are shorter towards the muzzle

My grizzly also had some problem with the position of the sights , but if shooting buck shots no diffetence.

Doesn't look like enough to worry about, or even mention, especially on a $200 gun. Not sure how you noticed it even.
I say keep feeding it buck shot and forget about it.

Are you positive about curving upwards? If the barrel does curve you could easily spot it if you disassemble it, and point the barrel at a light source and looking at reflections. I think it's just your vent is canting downwards in this case? I might be wrong though let me know how it looks under the light.

Also, to the OP, is it just that the barrel is shrinking in diameter as moving forward towards the muzzle, at a non linear shrink rate?

Why is everyone giving this guy a hard time. He wasn't attacking or bashing Canada ammo. He just wanted some info and some advice. There are plenty of threads that deserve to have the OP sorted out but this isn't one of them. This is not the way to treat a new forum member who simply wants advice.

I love Canada ammo. I agree themail way they dealt with this was probably fine. The OP seems completely cool about it as well. Stop treating him like he's a bad guy or like he's a troll... he's clearly not.
