DA Grizzly screws for pic rail?

Just got my Dominion Arms Grizzly 12.5 and noticed that it came with picatinny rail to go on the top of the receiver but no screws, anyone know what size screws to use, or which store to go to for that type of screw?

I am also wondering the same thing. I remember i found the answer and wrote it down but now i can't find the posting. From what i read the screw type is a 6-48, even though i have no idea what that means.

#6 screw 48 tpi (threads per inch) sounds a bit small, Id figure it would be 8-32 at least. Post in Can Ams forum, they know their own products quite well. As for a source, some hardware stores, distributors and department stores carry small machine screws.

The screws are indeed 6-48 and a little over a 1/4" long. Most gunsmiths/gunstores will have them or you could order them from Brownells or other sites.

What rail fits the Grizzly

Not quite the same topic but thought I'd ask. Anyone know what aftermarket rail or top mount fits the Grizzly.?? Can Am says they have no more rails.

Thanks alot gentlemen, I'm on the hunt for those screws now, my friend told me about a machine shop near my house that has all kinds of, well machine screws, I'll check them out this week.

I would contact the store that I purches it from and tell them to send me the missing screws.

The rails that were included with the shotgun weren't advertised - they were a pleasant surprise and bonus. The only call we would make to CanAm or other vendor would be to thank them!

So the 6-48 screws are confirmed? I was out shooting mine and one of the rail screws went missing on me
