da m14s muzzle brake

What are people doing for muzzle brakes on the 18.5 in da m14s with the funky threading? Looking for something pretty aggressive to make it suitable for 3gun.

how loud is that brake?? is it one of the louder ones???

It is louder than the stock DA flash hider. As a comparison to others, I am not sure. Works well though, I am happy with it.

any other brakes out there that are threaded for this? there has to be more than one guy putting one on a DA m14s.

http://www.blackrose-tactical.com has two brakes available now for M305's with metric treading.

Just to be clear, the Black Rose units are for the. 595 threading on the DA Socom rifle?

the Black Rose brakes are for metric threaded Norc M305's but they will thread them for whatever you want. I ordered a Smith Style that will fit the DA threading. Said it should ship by Monday. Time to get on installing the Black Feather stock!

Those Blackrose Tactical ones seem nice. I am a fan of the Smith style one.
