DA Revolvers

Wondering if anyone makes a DA cowboy style revolver, and if not (other than tradition), why not?

the Colt 1877 and 1878 come to mind but they were discontinued over a hundred years ago.

Hi Standard use to make one or 2 models, Rossie also, H& R I think, these where all 22's. but poor sellers .

Rohm RG63 is another option, visual clone of the SAA and a gateloader but is SA/DA

To answer your question of why none are produced however, it is to a large degree the fact that the biggest market companies like Pietta and Uberti sell to are people who compete in SASS and other cowboy-style shooting competitions where only single actions are allowed even though in the time period many double actions were available
