Internet took me to a website that had the LEM kit in stock but not anymore, this was obviously in the states therefore importing it to Canada should be impossible unless you use someone like IRUNGUNS to get it here

Anyway, after a not so very scientific research I figured out that any P30 or HK45 can be converted to DA/SA to LEM, in the case of the P30 the conversion to LEM to DA/SA is not possible due to the lack of decocker in the LEM version; now, transforming a P30 from DA/SA to LEM is possible using all the LEM trigger parts, the decocker can be removed or used to release trigger tension when the pistol is not in use.

According to HK doing this change in the P30 is not supported by HK and will void the warranty (you can always switch back to the original if you have to send the gun to HK - wich should be VERY rare). As per the configuration LEM + decocker, this is not shown on the website but apparently it was issued in Europe to an agency who requested this (and I think it is very cool to have a mix of both worlds, the lem and decocker to release the spring tension when not needed, in my humble opinion, very cool)

Has anyone here attempted switching these parts to get the LEM trigger on a P30? I was looking in HK PARTS dot net but, found a let kit for hk45 butn ot for p30 (obviously) but I could just get all the different parts and individually.

Yes, option B would be to get a LEM p30 but I like the idea of the LEM + decocker...

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

here some more info that can be helpful to clarify what I am talking about:

this thread talks about the different trigger versions VO (the one I am after) is no longer offered but used to be in Germany.

In this thread, more info about the different trigger, with Todd Green clarifying the differences between the V0 and V1:

In this one, someone discussing part numbers to achieve the change:

Probably no one in Canada has done this because the parts needed are almost impossible to get here. If you do it, let us know how it works out.

yes, you have to call any gunsmith in canada for them to get in contact with R nichols and they will order the parts for you, you gotta go through a middle man since for some reason they will not deal with the public, unless I think you are LEO.

In my case, I sold my two DA/SA and bought two LEM V1. and problem solved.

this is incorrect. The only Variant that voids warranty is the P30, all other P series can be swapped out to LEM or Da/SA as it is advertised.

You do know that voids your warranty right? Only usps retain warranty when you change variants.

sorry, my mistake, I am sure the HK45 (not USP 45) has a LEM kit, this is supported by HK. Not sure about the USP or P2000 since I am unfamiliar with those 2 platforms. It will void the warranty of the P30 for sure.

tthanks.
Yes, HK does not support the change from Da/Sa to Lem in the P30.
For instance, the DA/Sa could be switched over to LEM using the LEM parts, and you will end up with a LEM and a decocker, this variant is not supported although it exist, it is called V0 and it's only produced for certain agencies that require a decocker.
The P30 LEm, cannot se switched over to DA/SA due to the frame being smaller at the back and the decocker cannot be installed.

Hope that helps.
