DA50 Shorties.. What barrel length?!

There were multiple responses I debated quoting, but this one sums it up!
Short stubby ftw! It's not like it's going to limit you to a dedicated impractical rifle, it's just the upper, and they're pretty dang affordable all things considered. I think a little stubby would be ridiculously cool, and would probably take a standard length as well, for.. well.. practicality. Canada Ammo, you guys should offer a combo pkg with a shortly and standard set of your choosing.
Can still use these in the bush with short barrels if you had an ATRS nr lower. It's a bolt action, so no barrel length requirement, just OAL.

I would actually prefer the 26" to be 28 or 29" (optimal length) and then the short could easily go 18 or 20".

Funny reading these posts, most guys haven't even fired a 50 that weighs 25 lbs... Let alone firing a light one with a short barrel. 12 inch barrel .50 cals are too dangerous for the tactical mall ninjas on here!

The 50bmg needs at least a 29'' barrel to burn all its powder .. Any .50bmg with a barrel under 26'' is just a novelty gun in my opinion , very nasty to shoot unless you like huge fireballs, excessive concussion and recoil , and greatly reduced velocity..
