DA556 in M16A2 format status?

Fixed carry handle? No thanks. Had a CQ-311 and sold it years ago due to lack of optic options.

A3/A4 config? YES PLEASE!

Also if it is the same as the CQ 311 the handguard is not built to spec and won't accept regular AR15 handguards without modification

No it's not removable. There would be two set screws on the left side keeping the handle on... That feature alone would add a lot more flexibility to optical mounting. However, it's still a great rifle the way it is!

I was expecting A2 handguards and carry handle. That's more of an A1 carry handle and wacky cartoon looking furniture. Looks neat though.

That better be an old or placeholder image. That's clearly an A1 style upper, not A2 as in the description. I would think CanAm knows the difference.

The dildo style forend is actually quite comfortable to use, but ugly as sin. Funny I paid about $700 for one of these about 12 years ago!
