bought my first AR about a month and a half ago, first time out with it I was having trigger reset problems, the trigger would not reset after cycling, but could be physically pushed forward from behind to reset. Some members suggested that a spring could be installed incorrectly in the trigger group. Finally got a chance to get it in to our friend who is a local gunsmith, and sure enough, that was the case. He installed new Colt springs in the trigger group and we got a chance to take it out yesterday. Worked awesome!! We put about 150 rounds down range with it, no problems whatsoever and quite accurate
I installed a Vortex Strikefire on it last week, and for the first time ever, I dialled in a scope, it was honestly much easier than I was expecting. What a fun little gun to play with, the wife loved it ( that means a second AR for sure!) and even my 70 year old father in law had a blast with it. Now that we have experienced a well running AR, I can see what the attraction is, well worth the money for the fun, the only problem is now I want to " spruce" it up a bit, lol, and that's gonna cost me
