OP if you want a non-restricted semi auto .223 they are quite a few out there. But at a much much higher price. 1000-4000 plus accessories. If you havnt already make sure you join one or all of the pro gun orgs and as you say take er back.
well from what I have herd the modern hunter is lucky to shoot a 1" group..the super money you pay for it that's a joke, The xcr isn't much better..I have been around awhile and I have prolly taken as many more courses then most I am full aware of the ar platform ban and this does not fit a ar with out mods so is it an ar base if it don't fit without mods?

Yet you gotta make 2 posts asking if something non restricted or restricted. What are you talking about? AR Platform ban? Theyre restricted not banned.
Its because Chinese guns normally have different specs then American or other made AR15s. So some modifications of the handguard might be required. Due to the miss specs of Chinese made firearm. Its like a disclaimer. If something doesn't fit 100% people ##### and say they don't fit.
The KIT is just a aftermarket handguard, grip and stock. That comes with the rifle you buy.
