Beast of a rifle, Rob! That is smoking performance too. And going with a very solid scope too. Enjoy!

I really don't comprehend this hi teck chit?
Why not balance the stuff out?
Put the wutt I suppose is the leveling device between the last scope ring and the awwcular bell.
Then mewf the frunt scope base way up front under the front scope ring?

Looky more better and would support the scope base to it's proper extent.

Fruck, I hate gitt'im me arse old.

Nice Rob. Interesting cartridge. Sounds like it offers a fair bit more jam than the PRC!

Too bad you don't know someone who could Ceracote the shine off that metal... 😋😉

Rifle is 7 pounds 11 ounces not including the scope. I chose the caliber because in my mind it is the perfect magnum cartridge. Can drive modern bullets to rediculous speeds, fits in a standard rem 700 BDL magnum magazine, very efficient. I've also done a bunch in 338-375 Ruger and that cartridge will push a 250g bullet faster than a Lapua. The one dog based on that case seems to be the 300 PRC it really doesn't best a 300wm by much.

I dig it, very cool, leave it shiny, would likely do rings though, those 180's at that speed can't possibly need a 20 moa advantage.

Upon second look, is that rail removable? if so just get 20 moa rail and bring scope down a bit with rings?

The scope is in rings. Changed it after the pics. I'm going to cerakote it. I intend on pushing this rifle past a mile for steel slaying duty as well so was trying to get as much of my erector travel back as possible. The rail is 20 moa.

Sounds like fun. That thing is going to be wicked with the 180ELD!

Very underrated title. Not what I was expecting to see and very pleasantly surprised!! Do you have pics of your loaded ammo?
