This was the necked down 300 PRC cases before fire forming. Don't have a pic of a fireformed loaded one yet unfortunately. IMG_20230803_160813_(1080_x_1080_pixel).jpg

if a guy was trying to make 1000 yard stuff look easy, that would be a good way to go!, how many grains of powder to go 3200?

and is the mag release in the trigger guard acting like hinged floor plate release?

and so I'm seeing 20" 10 kmh wind drift about 900 yards, 0.75 second tof around 700, and 1800 fps landing around 1325 yards with a lot of bullet 0.319 SD is going deep and that eld-m will mushroom beautifully and dump a ton of goodness at that distance and with that much SD it will just dump more and more the closer the shot while still having plenty excess to go more than deep enough, the forefront of inflight ballistics in regular hunting diameter bullets and will be top terminal ballistics also, fun toy, I'm guessing you can't wait to get that load figured and then start playing at distance to see where you're comfort lands with it
 
Think it should be around the 80 grains of n570 neigbourhood. Magazine release is in the trigger guard yes. That rifle will be capable of killing far further than I am willing to shoot..... Or walk

love that mag release and yes you won't really have to think about wind until beyond 500 yards lol, hopefully you can watch it happen in the scope with that brake and whatever the weight of rifle is, great bullet choice, will work close and way past lrh and deep into elrh lol, my 'dad's rifle done right' is so different than yours lol, extreme ends of the spectrum...I burn 50 grains less powder lol

Basically Robs thinking on Rifle cartridges is if you don’t have a 6br, 243AI, 7-375 Ruger you have a belly button ring.

lol, could be looked at as compensating, big lift on his truck? ;)

and why br not dasher? must be weird not fire forming, doesn't the dasher have the 1000 yard smallest group record?
 
Fireforming is like burning money these days. So is shooting cartridges with 80 gr of powder. Just add a brake so it doesn’t hurt watching it burn.
