Dad's rifle done right!

Safeway badger is certainly cheaper. But you don’t get the smell which is priceless.

Should switch to pounding long range steel. Or at least talking about it. ;)

lol, could be looked at as compensating, big lift on his truck? ;)

and why br not dasher? must be weird not fire forming, doesn't the dasher have the 1000 yard smallest group record?
Why would you mess up the perfection of a 6br by turning it into a dasher. Run a 6 creed at that point. No lift on my trucks. You fire form every case you fire just to what degree......

the unmolested vanilla br just didn't seem to fit your theme with the other two in the list, guessing the 6 creed (relatively new to the scene by comparison) will have some stripes to earn if it's going to be discussed with the br or dasher legends

He drives an older model Volvo station wagon as he won’t compensate for safety.

Dasher?

Meh…

lol, sure he does...that rifle, I'm seeing Denali or high country lol

No bowties on my property..... The 6 creed for most purposes is a great cartridge. Every one I've had my hands on have shot great. Now would it measure up to a PPC or a br in a bench gun I'm guessing probably not but I'm not a br guy so I'm not going to try to speak with any authority on that.

6 creed would be my pick for any new 6mm purchase to run in the standard short action class, the 6 arc would likely be higher on my list (the first factory short fat 6), I like off the shelf, but also like at least 120 grains of lead heading down range so I left 6's quite awhile ago, looking forward to the shooting reports on your new super toy

Was out doing initial load development today running 180eldm over n570. Seems I found a spot that warrants further investigation. Groups were with the magneto speed on the barrel, so betting it will shoot tighter without the Bayo dangling

Very nice rifle. I am guessing you will make that thing sing when you find the recipe she likes. Life is short. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. If you gotta itch, may as well scratch it while you still can. Congrats.

20231008_122223.jpg just hit the 120 round mark and the barrel has sped up 40fps or so. Load is 82.5g of n570. Shooting nice little knots. 3.6mils elevation to 750m and hammers steel with authority. Cant wait to punch some flesh and bone with it in the next couple weeks.

Got my first mulie cull buck victim the last day of season at a range i care not to post on the internet, needless to say it was more than double my previous longest kill. The 180eldm hit hard.
