Can you legaly own a daewoo dp-51 in canada with a restricted liscence?

if so where can you find them for sale?

From the information I can find, they have a 105mm barrel, so they are just short enough to be prohibited. If someone could convince Daewoo to make a run of them with a barrel of 106mm or longer, they'd be golden. Maybe we could get some dealers to look into this?

Depends on the exact barrel length. The regs say 105mm or less is prohibited, so if the barrel was actually 105.1mm, as measured in the proscribed manner, it would be legal.

I agree, if a dealer would look into this, and if they find a solution to have them brought in as a restricted item i would be guarante i would purchase one or two

There are at least a couple in Canada, they were available in the late 80's or early nineties (Ah, the good old days) from a couple of sources. Interesting design, reliable enough but the hammer/trigger thing was a bit gimmicky (though it did actually work as advertised)
