Dagger SAP6

That's not a very nice thing to say Rick.

It's also not true.

There are times where I wish manufacturers paid me to write nice things about them. It would certainly keep the wallet a little better padded. But they don't. I sell to publications. That means when TFB or Calibre have an assignment, I write a rundown and offer some details about my experience.

Always looking for some jimmies to rustle eh?

You're the guy who did the review of the tavor up in the mountains. Great job. Keep up the good work.

I was on the fence about the SAP6 due to certain design features I didn't (and still don't) like, but it also has some cool features, so I bought one from the first shipment.

I put four mags through it. The first two mags contained Federal target loads and functioned fine. The next two mags were Winchester Super X slugs and buckshot. This caused the gun to malfunction at least 50% of the time. After firing, the bolt would lock up solid and it was very difficult to pump out the empty shell.

TI told me to send it in and sent me back new one.

I just ended up selling it bnib to a guy I know after informing him of the issues with the first one. He says he has a good gun smith that he takes guns to when they don't function properly.

Shill: a person who pretends to give an impartial endorsement of something in which they themselves have an interest.

That might include any advantages, not necessarily a pecuniary advantage as you seem to suggest.

You know... like the free stuff and everything.

You should be more transparent and make a full disclosure page or something, which to this day is non-existent.

Take it easy Rick.
Just because he's trying to make a living at it doesn't mean he's a shill. If you can't see a guy called TV Press for what he is then there's not much hope for you in this hyper media/ sales world.

Two different people get two different guns of the same type and manufacturer, One works great, One won't function. Result.... 2 different reviews of the same gun with opposite opinions. Neither review is wrong even though they are in complete contradiction.

Shot my today and having a few issues:

1. Buttstock screw into the receiver keeps backing out so must find a split lockwasher & add a dab of 222 Locktite on the screw
2. Screws from top rail becoming loose so I'm going to drill and tap 2 more screws then once again 222 Locktite
3. Trigger group pins are drifting out with the front pin very loose. Need to find some kind of replacements with captive ends (anybody else?)
4. Winter shooting with gloves on, am finding front pump is too slippery as my hand was slipping. Need to sort out the grip surface to be more aggressive.
5. Safety is tough to engage so need to research the upgrade.

I'm still short stroking so that means more time on the range.
