Gentlemen,
These two files go right to the point. Ordnance wanted a daily breakdown of production from SA. These hand written reports were issued at 4:30 PM every day. It gives us a complete picture in time as to what was going on. I hope you find this data of some interest. Some of these files are new and some are not.

Warning, before you go to my sites lower your volume as the opening page contains a sound file which has a loading and firing of the M1 Garand. So if you're at work or home it may be wise to check your volume control.

Shucks cant read that cursive too well. :(

Still pretty neat they wanted daily reports. If I was Ordance I'd save on that hassle and just counted the guns as they left the factory doors. :)

No I'm sorry, didn't get it this time around :(

I do find it odd (after sqenching my eyes) that only 9 were ready for packing 9 days in a row. What gives with keeping 9 in reserve ?? :confused:
