So I take my nice quality 12ga S x S to a local gunsmith to have an intermediate bead installed.
When I get it back there is an extra hole that has been drilled off centre and plugged. Looks like ####e and ruffles my feathers......but 'No Charge' to drill the extra hole.
Now! What are my options? Is there any possibility of doing an invisible repair to the rib? By the way the rib is a solid concave shaped rib. Or is the best option to have the rib replaced?.....and at what estimated cost?
Or bite my lip and shoot it as is?
Any suggestions?
