Buying up everything they can lay their hands on. Grrr:mad:. Need small pistol primers, but they seem to be in short supply, along with lots of other stuff.

Budget has some I think. But yes damn 'mericans. Im cursing them almost daily now. Like do you really need to have a few pallets of ammo or 100lbs of powder. Come on. Just because its on the shelf doenst mean you have to buy the store out of stock.

I understand the run on anything associated with an "assault rifle", but I can't understand why reloading components and .22 ammo is flying off the shelves.

And Henry is out of small pistol primers.

I think people are worried about a total ban on firearms in general. Same as the panic buying when Obama first got in office and everyone "knew" he was going to ban all firearms.

If you think .22lr panic buying is silly; try finding a .690 round ball mould for casting for muzzle loaders. Even those are sold out everywhere.

There is a mulititude of dealers in Canada who probably have your primers.........................all you have to do is call them.

When I went to Shot Show this year it was crazy. Had a feeling this would happen so I starting buy when I got back from from the show. Sitting on 20k of small pistol primer.

But there sometimes seems to be a lack of QC, while they're struggling to keep up with filling gun orders.

I agree. It's all that more important these day's to know your dealing with someone who is going to give great service.I have had a few top brand names disappoint right out of the box,but was fortunate to get good service...

I was in three Gun "Shops" on the weekend. One in Peterborough, one in Oshawa and the third in Port Perry. Looking for reloading components. Found most of what I needed but not everything. I'm good to go for the summer as far as loading cast for my rifles. My favourite 30 cal Hornady's were all sold out.

Reloading tools and components are hard to come by these days both locally and fav. US internet stores, what's available has gone up in price.

Stocking up with 20k primers and 30#+ powder before last year end doesn't look so crazy after all.

Well, it's a darn good start IMHO
