Damn it, I want a suppressor!!!

Yeah I knew you made the real deal, just wondering have you ever made the fake variety, sorry should of worded my queston better, how much would one cost? Also you mention to me awhile back some reading material on suppressors?

If we do not ask, suppressors will continue to be prohibited.

But, if we ask, carefully explaining the benefit of suppressors - not only to the enjoyment of the firearm owners and shooting ranges but also to the peace and quiet so valued by shooting range neighbors, and the public at large - there is no reason to think that public safety would be endangered by the sound suppressor being moved from "prohibited weapon" to "restricted weapon".

We can regulate them strictly, just as we regulate a "restricted" handgun, or an "restricted" AR-15, to keep the RCMP happy. The CFO's - by way of their various interventions - could assure everyone's safety.

We should start asking
for legislation that will permit the lawful acquisition and employment of firearm sound suppressors for recreational target shooting, target practice, firearms instruction, and competition.

I emailed Brownells regarding their Spike's fake can, and they said they don't ship to Canada due to regulations.

I don't get it. Why is there a restriction on FAKE suppressor??

It's too bad. They only sell it for $29. Questar has it for more than $50 a piece.

I don't know who was right or wrong, but I tried to olace the order again but not through email this time. I called instead and spoke to nice lady.

She said "yes we can ship it to Canada without any extra paper work". I was like YES!

It's only $29.99 on Brownells. Questar has it for $59.99.

All in all only cost me $29.99 plus $5 shipping. Save me lots of $$$.

I want to support Canadian retailers but what a HUGE difference in price! I don't want to get rip off by buying from Canadian retailer.

I was thinking that the suppressor ban could be contested as being of no force or effect to the extent that it conflicts with the Charter Section 7 right to security of the person. A suppressor is a piece of safety equipment that prevents hearing loss. Ear muffs are not totally effective, especially if you wear glasses that cause a seal failure for example.
