Damn, that's a big gun (500S&W)

I never thought i would say well isnt that 44 so compact and totable.
Thanks for sharing they all look like candy to me. I am a revolver shooter but havent made the move past .357 yet. Ive shot a fair amount of 44 but like the idea of something huge to finnish off my trips to the range.

iamcanadianeh...your blacked out 500 looks awesome! Casey does great work...(he's done some work for me in the past)
Nice trio of big bore revolvers. I'm guessing you're a S&W guy.

How was it to manage? Could you have gone round 2 if you really wanted to?

Id just put one round in to start, ya dont want a double fire. ;)

That's what I do whenever some one shoots my 460V for the first time.

This is exactly what MC2 and I did, just in case we dropped it!
It wasn't as bad as I expected. I didnt drop it, but I did notice the barrel torque twist it in my hand.

Just holding the 500 steady with one hand is hard enough, that sucker is heavy.

Yeah, I was wobbling around a bit!

I have shot 2 rounds single hand it is hard on the hands but in saying that I fired 3X rounds before firing it single handed.

PS Good looking Cannon welcome to the club

Are you going to be casting for it? You need some 700gr bullets!

I had the chance to try Mildcustom2 's 500S&W a few months ago.
What a crowd pleaser!
I didnt believe MC2 when he said he could fire full power loads with one hand. But he did manage to do so. Once.
So naturally I tried it as well. Once.

Ah yes the hand cannon affectionately referred to as " The Ex-Wife " she looks great but shes one mean........

I love letting people try it, they are always hesitant but after realize its not that bad.

just heard a girl in the US was killed by a double fire after shooting a 500 S&W with 4 inch barrel. Why i always put one round in first, just to see how the new shooter can handle it. Especially with something like a 460 or 500. They are not for novice shooters.

Covert it to single action only, and the double fire will go away. That's what I did after mine did that.

It wont double fire if you can handle the recoil, the double fire comes from somebody that cant handle the recoil and they hit the trigger again trying to hang on to the gun causing a double fire.
