Got a call from my local gun shop today. I'd ordered a Ruger PC-40, but i guess it's now Restricted! Can someone please tell me why? This is the second firearm that I ordered that has changed status en route (other was G22). This is frigging BS and I would like to know WHY????

The ruger PC's have been restricted for over 10 years. Semi auto centerfire with a barrel under 18.5 inchs puts it in the restricted class.
The G22 is another matter. When original inspected and classified they were determined to be a regular non-restricted rifle. This was later reversed as the CFC is now claiming the stock is of bullpup configuration. Legally only the stock is prohibited though.......and hopefully will be changed back as the CSSA and other org. are trying to get this looked at.
