Dan Wesson .357 value

Hi everyone, first post here on what looks to be a great board.

I have a question about a dan wesson .357 that im looking at.
The gun is in excellent shape, no scratches. The owner purchased it in the 80's. He put 300 rounds through it and hasen't used it since. It's the blued version and has what looks to be a 6'' barrel. The bluing is very good and the rifling is excellent. It comes with a set of pachmayr grips as well as the stock DW grips. It also has a barrel removal tool, wrench and barrel spacer(I think thats what it is) he also has a couple speed loaders and a couple different front sights. Overall the gun is in very good to excellent shape.

So, my question is how much is this gun worth? I don't want to insult him by giving him a lowball.

This is NOT my picture, but it looks identical to this gun.

lol, well it may be worth more, $500-550 maybe , in the pic damage to the cylinder, and wear on sharp edges makes me think its been around aloth.

Excellent revolvers - well worth the money, amazingly accurate when properly fed.
