I have a DW 44VH pistol pac with 10, 8 and 6 inch bbls that has been sitting in the safe to long. It is a Monson made revolver from early 80's'. Some bluing loss on the 10 inch barrel but otherwise in good condition. I have tried finding info online but have not had much success. I am thinking of putting it in the EE but need a price guideline. Any help appreciated.

Nice set up. I have not seen a set up like that for sale in years. I saw a mint 6" SS 44 mag with box go for around 1K last year and a few blued version go for less. I'm thinking around $1500? You could start a little higher and see what offers come in.

Almost looks a little mismatched. The 10" barrel is not a VH barrel as the kit says it is a VH kit but the 6" and 8" are. If it were mine I say the $1500 would be a good place to start.

I was thinking the same thing regarding the 10" barrel. It looks to be in nice shape and the Packs aren't found together too often up north here - that Pack should have also come with a DW patch, possibly a belt buckle, and additional front sight blades. Also, the 6" shroud has a patridge sight blade that would normally come only on 10" and longer shrouds.

If I hadn't blown my budget so early in the year, I would have been interested.

I'm curious to hear what the others say. I have the .357 Hunter's Pac with the Burris scope on the extra hunter shroud. All in the Samsonite case.....mint. Curious because I've never even seen one before. Must admit that I like the .44. I would go as high as $1800 for your package if I was in the market.

Good observation. You could be right. For me I'd probably prefer the regular 10" barrel without the lug anyway given it is already a hefty package. I have to say it would be nice to have these barrel options. I would have bought that 6" stainless last year but I wanted an 8" with it. CZ in the US still sells separate barrels but said they would not sell internationally even through a broker like IRG or Profit River.

That is a nice kit, myself will keep quiet on the revolvers side until Gary mail me the Korth list price and see if i can use a sizable part of my 2016 firearms budget to buy a custom Korth Combat 357 mag... JP.cou:

you are right about the 10" bbl, it just makes the weight max for IHMSA, the other barrel is heavier. I attached pics of the buckle and inserts. I doubt if I put more than a dozen rounds thru the other barrels.
Thank you for the help

I have the briefcase too. Really cool revolvers. The old guy at hunting camp gave the 2.5" and 4" barrels to the rcmp when I bought it from him. There was no arguing.
