The current Dan Wesson firearms are not made by the same outfit that originally built these revolvers.
All production stopped. Business decision, forced or otherwise.
Not from lack of demand, or from questions of quality.

the current owners are CZ-USA.
The 715 offered currently is made from the original drawings, perhaps using some of the old tooling.
I don't profess to be an expert!
I do own five Dan Wesson revolvers.
In .22LR, .357 Magnum, and .44 Magnum
Including an original 715.
I purchased my 15-2 Pistol-Pac fourty years ago.
Many others since.
There a lot of quality .44 Magnums out there on the market.
If CZ-USA thought that there was room for another player in the .44 Mag. game.
They'd be right on it!
If I can locate a Dan Wesson in .32 Magnum, I'm on it!
I don't know "absolutely nothing" is an accurate statement, but it's true I've never owned one.
If frame strength isn't an issue, and as you purport yourself an expert, do tell. Why isn't Dan Wesson in the .44 Rem Mag game? Market too small!?
