Hi for PM9 owners and 1911 gurus, could you please confirm if there is a roll pin holding the fiber front sight in place?
When I inspected my PM9, I only saw something when I looked from within the slide, but didn’t see anything on the base of the front sight underneath the fiber optic rod when I looked from top and side of the fiber optic rod. So if there is a pin, I don’t see a way to remove it.
Besides, today a friend of mine had his sight felt off the newly purchased pm9 during range session after about 400 rounds, he said there is no pin holding his. Mine is a older one with serial number indicating made in 2016. so I am not entire sure. Thanks!
