I am considering purchase of a Dan Wesson 715 ... it is a stainless 6" barrel weighted revolver that looks a lot like the S&W 686.
I am new to DW's but not new to pistols, I have owned several different revolvers, including the 686.
My concerns are around the relative rareness of these ... am I buying a white elephant or are these a true collectable piece that are sought after ... obviously I am thinking of if I wnt to sell it in the future.
The gun looks to be in great shape although I have not fired it yet.
For $500 ... should I or should I just take a pass and stick with the more mainstream brands ...?
Thanks for all advice and input.
