Dan Wesson Specialist 5" 1911 LASD Edition or Regular Specialist? Please help to pick

Shopping for my first 1911. Debating between the two similar model.

Dan Wesson Specialist 5" 9MM LASD Duty Edition and the regular DW Specialist 9MM Black. They look identical other than the LASD engrave and missing ambidextrous safe feature missing on the LASD version. Also 2 mags with LASD version and 3 mags with regular version.

Price wise they are almost same.

Please help to choose. Thanks
 
For the Price difference i would go with the LASD edition, its the same gun minus the ambi safety and it is like $450 dollars cheaper from a sight sponsor.
i have the 9mm version and i have run it for a few thousand rounds without an issue.
and mine came with 3 10 round magazines.

Thanks for your reply. I see the LASD 9MM for $1699 and regular specialist with 3 mags for $1759. The store is selling the LASD confirmed only two mags comes with it. So at the end they are almost same price. That’s why I am debating between two. Where do you see the one is $450 cheaper? Thanks

Go tenda has the lasd for 1699 and the specialist was 2249 but my math was off, and it is out of stock,

and their website states 3 ten round magazines are included.

Yes, the 45ACP comes with 3 mags and 9MM only two mags $1699. I have also found multiple retailer for regular specialist around $1750.
 
The distributor was able to get the LASD version for a better price for reasons I can’t remember. Great gun for a great price! Just grab one already.
