I took a "wilderness defense" shooting course in my early 30's that was supposed to land me a job at a remote surveyor's camp. The owner decided he preferred I carry bear bangers and spray only while perfoming the daily bear watch duties up around Bralorne BC ..... and I declined LOL
One of the shooting exercises we were tasked with was shooting a moving target as it came towards us. 3 shots, engaged on a air horn blast
Before we could start the session we had to jog in place for 30 seconds to elevate heart rate, shoulder and ready and as the target approached you could not raise and engage until the air horn blasted from a few feet away. It was pretty difficult to remain composed and on target. One of the "charging bear" courses was a plastic barrel rolling down a gravel hill with a 6 inch line painted around it. Engage on the horn blast as it's coming towards you and try and put 3 into that 6 inch line.
be cool to see that shooting scenario added from those that can set it up for themselves.
