Hey everyone, just ordered my first AR. It's a DDm4 V11 lightweight. I have not heard or seen to many reviews of the V11 especially the lightweight version. Just wondering if anyone owns one and could tell me about it. Where would I find a good assortment of keymod accesories. ? How is the lightweight barrel for accuracy? Thanks.

I got mine a few weeks ago. You'll love it. From wolverine supplies.
First I put mbus irons on it (actuslly they're polymer.)
Added an eotech a couple days ago
It shoots smooth after you apply some lube. The upper was dry when I received it. The upper and lower receiver require a thin layer of oil when you get it. It has a chalky looking finish when it ships. It's a blast! Everything works smooth. The Daniel defense furniture is great. It's actually pretty comfortable. I got it with magpul furniture which was crap compared to the DD parts. Charging handle is gradually getting smoother and easier to pull. It was a little stiff at first due to the finish on the upper impeding the smooth easy function of it. I ordered a raptor charging handle for the ease of use and design.
The barrel seems fine. I've had it pretty damn hot. Seems to work great.
People keep asking me where I got the rail. It's a pretty hot item I guess. It came with the rifle.

That looks badass man. Too bad i read restricted transfers are on hold while cfc updates. Ive heard nothing but great things about daniel defense just havent seen much on this particular model.
Do you think itll be awhile before we see many keymod attachments? Or do you see yourself just using rail sections?

i bought one a couple weeks ago (ddm4v11 in their tornado grey cerakote) but im still waiting for the official registration to arrive in the mail before i take it out to the range. i hope it shoots as nice as it looks.

I was under the impression the tornado grey and the FDE'ish finishes were both considered mil spec plus finishes. I could be wrong. Their website wasnt super clear about it.

I have a DDM4A1 in milspec + also from wolverine great rifles I like it better than the C7/C8s to be honest. The new hardware is great and the milspec + FDE/brown looks outstanding.

Just noticed the bipod adaptor. That was my plan as well. Would I be doing this rifle a disservice if I was to put a Bushnell 1-4x24mm PCL throw down on it.? Also any ammo you guys stay away from? Thanks

My Ddm4v11 LW came in the mail today. It was quick to my door. When I opened it I noticed it has the older daniel defense furniture on it. The pictures I have seen of the ddm4v11 all have the new furniture. Can anyone help me out? Am I missing something?

yup. i flipped the cantilever mount the other way now.
im not familiar with that scope.
i have only used remington umc and federal ar .223 bulk so far. both are okay. got a case of pmc coming from canadaammo.
