Just wondering if anyone has anything to say about them as I will very likely pick one up (a stripped lower that is).
I've handled many things DD and everything was better than most but I never seen one of their lower. It is apparently all in house manufactured and has a flared mag well. price is very good too.

I have a Daniel Defense M4 and the entire thing is of impressive quality. I would buy a stripped DD lower but around here they are ~$250 more than most other lowers... And I'm just not sure that its worth that much more even if it does seem to be of higher quality/more finished.
 
WTF! it is one of the cheapest stripped receiver up here, both lower and upper...
the only thing cheaper is the Blue line lower.
 
Yes, I'm curious to know who has DD lowers that are super cheap as well. The Blue Line BL15 is $159 and the Kodiak Aero Precision is $149...cheapest in the country.

sorry for the delay answering, I was out of town for a couple of days...
I guess I was wrong anyways: Wolverinesupplies updated their DD pricelist last week and there was stripped DD lower for 165$ on it.
I tried to order one yesterday and got an email saying they can't have it anymore but they can sell me a saber defence for 229$.

what a deception... sorry guys. :(

I should have confirmed before posting I guess.

I've dealt with Wolverine for quite a while, thats not "deception", thats ordering after the item is sold out...

As I've been told for years in the gun market, "you snooze, you lose..."

Remember that Canada is a very small market, and dealers can only afford to carry a limited amount of stock - ie) if they imported 250 uppers, they might not have sold the last off for 5 years. That is a very long time to wait to make back your capital investment....

So instead they order 10 items, and try to anticipate a jump in sales to re-order.

Also the border & manufacturer delays: 1 dealer told me that if all of his backordered primer orders were to come in at once, he would be immediately bankrupted. All of his orders were being short shipped, but he found that he actually got (short) shipped on new orders, but the previous back-orders were not coming~ so he just kept ordering more, gambling that the back-orders would eventually start trickling thru.
 
well, considering that the 1st reply i got from the wolveine staff when I asked if they had DD lpk (as it was not on the pricelist) was: "hold on a couple of days we will update the DD pricelist". and that the said list was sent to me the next day and the lower were on it at that price but were in fact are not avalable... i call that a deception but by that I meant "déception" (in french the meaning is sligtly different: Being disappointed, not seeing the facts unfold favorably, according to his hopes.) I realise that in english it might sound bad.

I am not bashing wolveine, I love those guys.

Ah yes similar word with a different meaning; like when I try to think in English and speak en francais. My word order is terrible...

Re: DD, sounds more like an inventory or catalogue error.
 
I was gonna go with Stag receivers before thinking I could get a DD set, back to square one I guess.
At least they have the LPK available, which is why I contacted them to start with. it is not on their updated list but is in stock, go figure...
 
In the future if you guys see them again for that price I highly recommend you buy one.

Also someone mentioned the Aero Precision lowers... Honestly, they are okay... The fit of parts is very good, but the finish and detail that went into machining it is ####ty (In my opinion) compared to the Daniel Defense.

Still, at least in my case I was able to get an Aero for ~$200 less than what my local gun stores sell the DD's..
 
As per Wolverine, the DD lower will not be available anytime soon, I doubt anybody else can have them up here...
