Daniel Defense 14.5" carbines

I bought a DDM4V2, right away I installed a DDM4 14.5" M4 profile barrel. Had never even shot the 16" barrel, you could go that way if you don't mind spending a bit more.

I bought that rifle you linked to.
I'm not sure if I got the only one they had or if there were others.

I had built that exact rifle on their rifle builder page and a few days later there it was for sale.

I told my wife it was fate and I must buy it.

I haven't shot it a whole lot as its been a very cold winter but it is very light and very handy.

I am in the process of switching my v1 to more of a Recce rifle. Have a bipod looking for scope.

Moved the red dot and flashlight to this one.

No regrets on the purchase. Its exactly what I wanted.

Hope this helps.

14.5" uppers are custom rifles that Wolverine have gone and swap out the 16" barrel with a 14.5", if you want one just email or call them.

Ive discussed the same with Wolverine on a few occassions.

This is a bit more common than you think and they will oblige you
the 14.5" build no problem.

I just received my second DD 14.5" order from them last week.

It will be all factory DD barrels, Wolverine bring in different 14.5" DD barrels in 3 different profiles as regular inventory items.

Got an email back form Wolverine saying they can build these 14.5" carbines as needed. Good to know. Thanks for all the responses.

Can people post some pics of their 14.5" DDM4's? I might need some inspiration to swap my V5 16" barrel out!

Haha, this has bugged me from day one. I originally wanted a 14.5" but they only came in 16" at the time (last year). I'm finding it hard to justify buying a $280 (plus tax and shipping) barrel to reduce mine by 1.5". I know I can sell my 16" DD barrel but in the end, that 1.5" will cost me about $130. :p
