Daniel Defense 5.56 chrome plated bcg

Got one in my 12.5" upper. There's only about 300rnds on it so far having used it in another upper briefly. No chrome chipping to be seen and no issues with shell extraction. Nice and clean with no tool chatter marks. Cleaning effort is reduced compared to nitride ones. I don't own a NiB so I can't compare the two in terms of cleaning up. It is a semi-auto carrier if that matters. I've used it in my mid-length 16" AR, 10.3" 300BLK AR with pistol length and now my 12.5" with carbine length AR with no hiccups. The chrome is nice and slick too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.

thanks trini, like you I was planning this on a shortie build in carb length Im looking at right now.

i have 7000 on mine and no problems. Easier to clean, it has smoother surface so gunk doesnt build up as much, but it has no black o ring in the extractor.

This is what I am looking to buy to go with the Colt Canada C-8 IUR I just picked up. I have two Daniel Defense complete rifles and they have been great!
