Just got my DDM4V5. Very very pleased with the fit and finish. This is my first Ar, was going to get an NEA but heard nothing but garbage about em and after reading 100's of reviews decided to go with DD.
As I stated above, the fit is awesome, no major rattling, very tight, and the finish is superb. The only thing I wish is that where they have the calibre on the receiver they'd state 5.56 instead of .223, because that's what it's capable of doing.
The 12 inch omega x quad rail is solid, no movement, and no complaints at all. I took the gun to the range and shot off 40 rounds through the lar mags I picked up just to try it out and it went pretty good. The springs were a bit strong which caused about two feed malfunctions for the first shots, so I'm just leaving the mags loaded for the week while I'm at work and hoping for perfection on Saturday.
This thing is accurate as all hell. I purchased an aim point pro for it and within minutes I was shooting tight groups without trying. I'm really loving this thing, and considering they're more expensive in the states than they are here, this is an ar us Canadians can really get the most bang for our buck from ( no pun intended).
All in all, I would recommend this gun to anyone. It's superb and performs.
Thanks,
RC
Edit: lots of people have reported gritty triggers and chargers, but mine is extremely smooth with hardly any play in the trigger.
