for all you lucky owners of DD rifles how happy are you with the fit/finish? I am about to drop some very hard earned $$ on a new "go to" rifle i can bet my life on. I will be getting a DD m4 V5 16" with a replaced 14.5" carbine length barrel and the 12" rail. How has customer service been? the other rifle i have considered is a Colt le6944 but they are rare, more expensive and no hammer forged barrels. I am a big fan of the 14.5 barrel and never noticed a difference with the middy gas sytem so a 16" is not much of an option

Thanks!

I had KAC on my list but the bolt and i think i few other parts are proprietary in KAC rifles...that worries me if i must order parts or in SHTF.

I love my DDM4V5! It has eaten everything I've put in it without a single malfunction yet. Norc 5.56 usually groups roughly 2 inches at 100 yards fairly consistently using the aimpoint micro 4 moa. The impulse of the gun is very smooth also. All around its a great gun, I've even had a guy who owns a KAC rifle say for the money he likes my V5 more than his KAC. especially since the price is so good for such excellent quality.

I've just finished shooting my first case of Nork ammo through my V5 and it seems to be ok. I have found it a little fussy about getting mags to seat. I have a 16" barrel and do find it gets a little heavy after carrying it all day and wished I would have went with one with a 12 1/2" barrel. Trigger is gritty feeling and will change it eventually.

I have a DD Mk18 Mod1 and after the break in period I have had no issues. I'm more concerned with performance than looks though the carbine does look sharp.

Great finish, great overall quality and amazing accuracy. I got mine for $1600 shipped and I feel that it is amazing value for the price.

DD Mk 18 - Fit and finish is outstanding, never a problem with anything! Trigger crisp, would buy another rifle from them in a heartbeat!

I LOVE my DD M4V5. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Everyone who's handled it has loved it as well.

Definitely worth the price tag, IMO.

I am very impressed with the value for money and functionality of mine. To get something better, you would have to spend a lot more.

Love my DDM4 Mk3. Great rifle, fantastic fit and finish. The stock trigger is a bit of a gritty and heavy to begin with, but it smooths out later. I've never had a problem with it that I didn't induce myself. One of the biggest selling features is how light it is compared to most other stock AR-15s. Hard to go wrong with a Daniel Defense or any other of the higher scale AR companies (BCM, Stag, Colt, KAC, etc).

I've also got a DDM4V5. Fit and finish was excellent. and at the Original price of $1499 when Wolverine first got them. Definitely a great bank for the buck.

Ammo diet consists of Winchester Ranger & white box, Federal Tactical TRU and Frangible. No complaints on grouping
