Daniel Defense Proprietary Barrel Nut (MFR) ... How'd you install//remove?

Swapping barrels out of my V7 and the wrench has nothing that fits.
Anyone have any insight ??

You need to either pickup the OmegaX/MFR DD wrench tool or a castle nut wrench from an armorer's wrench (open mouth with just a single hook) which I've used to remove the OmegaX barren nut on my V5.

I have an armourers wrench. The barrel nut doesnt fit into the throat of the wrench using the castle section. Might be a scary 30lb torque.

I needed the same DD wrench for one of my rifles. Only problem is that I was having a tough time sourcing one out in Canada...what else is new? I called Daniel Defense and asked them for one...sure enough, they mailed one out to me free of charge. Good folks, they are...

I guess the MFR barrel nut is a little but larger than the OmegaX ones.
