Daniel Defense rifle is complete, well almost.

Very well kitted out rifle and it looks sweet too, well done. I think you spent your money wisely; with such high quality items the performance and durability should offer years of shooting pleasure, enjoy...

Please let us know what you think of the Surefires performance/function...

So I finally pieced together my rifle, and I think she's ready. Well it's not really a build but here is the parts list:

-Daniel Defense M4A1 Mil Spec +
-BCM Mod4 chargin handle
-Troy Industires Font/Rear BUIS
-Surefire M600U Scout
-Haley Strategic Thorntail mount
-Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic
-American Defense Manufacturing AD-68H

What do you guys think of this setup?

Very nice. You need to get rid of that butt stock, though.

Daniels in house design, I believe a one piece that includes trigger guard.

You would be correct, the grip and trigger guard are one piece. I really dig the new furniture, DD really thought it through. There's grip where there needs to be grip (lower part of grip) and no rubber were you need less traction (thumb area where fire selector is, requiring movement).

surefire is rocking so far. love the amount of light that comes out of this little thing, and beam and spill are great.

Now that stock I like it really makes the rifle look finished. Where did you get the stock from.

It's the standard Daniel Defense furniture that comes on their rifles now. Really sharp in my opinion. You can order it from wolverine I believe they stock Daniel Defense furniture

Nicely done. I like the less is more approach in that you didn't add a whole bunch of unnecessary pieces to what is a fine firearm, just what's needed to get the job done.
Saying that have you considered a VFG, my DD runs one and I prefer it (mine uses the older style stock which is easier to get a visual match too though). How sweet would it be for DD to produce a VFG that matched their factory stocks that they now use, Daniel Defense are you listening.

I built that rifle before Daniel Defense started offering them. I love it. Waiting on somebody to stock the Surefire M600U in tan and I'll be good to go. Nice looking rifle.
