hmm it appears the bottom rail is continuous...is this the standard RISII FSP rail? or the one with the "break" under the FSB a newer version? Btw nice build! lets hear the details!

Standard RISII FSP - not sure what you meant by "break" under the FSB?

As for the build:
- NIB Colt LE6920 with Colt FA bolt carrier
- DD 12" RIS II FSP
- DD fixed BUIS with XS Sights CSAT rear aperture/notch
- DD limited rotation sling swivel socket
- Surefire M600C Scout Light
- Aimpoint M4S with Larue SOCOM riser
- Magpul MIAD grip with extra Colt bolt and firing pin
- Magpul trigger guard
- Tango Down QD Stubby VFG with extra cam pin and firing pin retaining pin
- Tango Down PR4 sling attachment
- LMT SOPMOD butt
- Viking Tactics wide padded sling

I had an X300 mounted at 12 O'clock, but the wide body got in the way of the ATILLA infra-red laser/illuminator - the Scout works much better anyway, with the protected buttong much less prone to light ND's, and you can replace batteries without removing the whole light from the rail. The only downside is that you are stuck using the OEM mount - the Larue Scout mount I bought puts the light too high and obscures the front sight

IMHO, DD is a second best solution to KAC URX. However, URX is such a PITA to get, and even more of a PITA to install because KAC is not making the tools easily obtainable, especially with the GL compatible barrel nut.

My sentiments exactly. Until I have a source for a Midlength URX AND the ability to install it, the DD rails will stay.
