I can post the one we have in stock that has a commercial tube. How would you like me to prove the stock on it is commercial?

Do you want me to email my two clients and ask them to post a picture in this thread cause you don't believe them or me?
 
Personaly preference I guess I have the V7 becasue I found it more comfortable over the railed versions. On the off chance I needed some Pic rail (bipod stage of a 3 gun) I just snap a small 3" piece on. But for my overall tastes and needs, the smooth rail is just awesome. But then again I like things simple, I don't even run BUIS, just a red dot. h

I am just wondering how it could happen, DD states that none of their rifles are made with commercial buffer tubes, nor have they ever been.

If you somehow have been selling DDM4 rifles with Commercial tubes, I think that is something to be curious about. All I can say is that I have never seen a commercial tube on a DD product, and I find it hard to believe they would ship out products that are hand inspected and signed off by the employee that would have non-milspec parts.

I dont want to burn any bridges, I just think DDM4's are swell.
 
I would like to put our (Wolverine Supplies) 2c in here. We have not seen any DD rifles come through our hands with commercial buffer tubes. We were assured by Daniel Defence that they only use Mil-spec buffer tubes in their rifles.
I am not saying that it could not happen, just that we have not seen it.

One i got is milspec, i think this is a case of a pissy retailer that they dont sell it anymore so resort to trash talking.

Not pissy at all. I still have friends at DD so why would I trash talk?

As I said, we would still carry them and actually might again in the future now that some one at DD is gone.

See, we use to IMPORT them as well, we weren't just a dealer and DD makes a great product. I hounded DD for 3 yrs before they set us up as a distributor.

If things didn't go the way they did we wouldn't have hooked up with LWRC, so I have no reason to be pissy.

I am happy you are bringing LWRC, they have some amazing and innovative products.

I am just surprised to see you post that they ran commercial tubes on their guns as my understanding is that they are milspec H-buffer. I have never seen mention on any other forums IE M4/ARF a DD rifle running non milspec parts.

I'm trying to figure out why 3 could be commercial. I'm still playing with stocks here in the store to confirm with the one DD we have and waiting for the other two stocks to be shipped back.

Got it figured out!

Ok so the LMT and B5 stocks are just really tight on DD tube but it is Mil Spec. I just tried everything in the store.

LMT and B5 are tight, Magpul and Ergo fit fine.

Both the clients have B5 stocks so that could be what's done it.


That'll teach me.

B5 stocks are almost no play, can hardly fit a C-hair through the one I mounted.
