What would be the approximate value of a pistol like this in good condition? With 4 barrels.
357 ?44 mag ?super mag ? V ? VH ? H ?
Barrels 4 ? 6 ? 8 ? 10 ? 12 ? 15 ?
Papers ,accessories , original case ?
Monson , Palmer or CZ
Anywhere from $ 1500- 3500 .
The old system probably still had a reg cert for each barrel. On transfer, the new person doesn't likely get the smaller two. I wish I could have got the shroud from the 4" though but the old guy I got mine from was super adamant about it and I didn't push. I have a .357 with 6 and 8", buckle, 3 grips, sight inserts, etc. the case is dirty, it went through a flood a year ago empty, but still. Nice revolvers. You don't want to know what he sold it to me for. He knew what it was worth and gave me a gift.
A few of mine were registered as frame only. I bought a Prohib that was swapped to Restricted prior to transfer. The owner had to turn in the 2" barrel, but he sent me the 4" and 2" shroud. I traded the 2" shroud for scope rings and I had a custom 106mm barrel and nut made for the 4" shroud. I still prefer shooting the 8" or 10" barrels

Congratulations to the OP! I’m sure you’ll have a friend for life with the DW 15-2!! I have a nice 15-2 and it set me off to start a modest collection of DW’s
I have a ported DW in 44 Mag. The kick is amazingly easy to handle. Stays right on target.
I have a few nice Pythons, lots of S&W’s and I have to say this 715 VH is one of the best I have.
I think the DW’s are the most under rated revolvers available in Canada.

I started out thinking they were asking too much for the pistol, after some research I was very enthused and happy to pay the price.

You think you got a good deal ? WRONG !!!
What you got is an addiction ! You gonna spend the rest of your life looking for more and more .
It's gonna start with just different barrel length , than vented barrels , heavy barrels , vented-heavy barrels , ported barrels and once you collected all then you start again in different caliber 22lr , 22mag , 357 maximum , 44
Than you'll do the stainless .
It will never end .
The last revolver I shot in IHMSA competition was a 8 inch stainless in 357 supermag. 40V8S I think was the model number. Pachmayr rubber grips.
In 1987 I paid 367 dollars. Not sure what that is in today's inflated dollars.
Put a lot of magnum loads through it without any problems.

Where did you get the custom barrel made? Have been looking for a source for something similar. You can PM me if the maker doesn't want to be publicized
