When we started in this business in 1997 Allan Lever allowed Dianne and I to go in the back unsupervised and handle as many guns as we wanted and to pick out whatever we wanted (there were over a thousand guns in stock). At one point we had so many Garands in stock at $175-$200 retail, that we sent them to auction and got killed on them after commision. Lever also had new unopened cases of parts that were sold in volume at very low prices because there was no big following in Canada at that point for original guns. In fact we sold several Garands restocked in plastic Ramline stocks as shooters as the original wooden stocks were determined to be too rough condition. I still have nice Winchester, Breda and Beretta versions in my personal inventory. Phil.

Looks like I was born about 10 years to late to take advantage of those awesome days.
