This coming spring will be the third year wearing my Danner Pronghorn boots. I absolutely love the light weight, they're completely water proof, and they worn hunting with 5-10kms a day on them. They breathe well, are comfortable from about +20C down to about -5C. Higher temps and I sweat, lower and they're not quite warm enough. The only major criticism I have (and it's a biggy, already mentioned here) is that they're narrow at the toe. I bought mine in the widest width offered..and STILL they hurt a little for the first 5 minutes of wearing them. Even when you look at them, they're not really "foot" shaped at the toe, they're too round. A lesser issue is that I think they're meant for guys with bean pole skinny legs. I can see the tongue exposed on both sides at the top when I lace them up. Love/hate? More love, but I'll be looking closer at these 2 issues before I buy another pair.
