Danner Boots...need your input

I have a friend in the boot business. "Ok for police work but not great. I like the Haix or Oakley better."
I have no opinion on this, myself. Wouldn't know a Danner if I tripped over it.
 
I wear the Danner Strikers at work and beat the hell out of them. Not familiar with this model. They look similar to the striker version. I wear the Strikers from Oct till April then wear a pair of 511 side zip boots for summer use. The striker runs between $150 to $200 and the 511 at Tetragon.ca runs around $150. However if it's a Danner is will be well made as they are up there with Prospector, Mattahorn and ECCO for work boots.
 
I have had a couple pair of Danner boots of different styles - they usually last me a year, not sure if I am that hard on my duty boots or what but Rocky's duty boot lasted less than a week.
 
I've used the Danner Kinetics as a duty boot and they are pretty good. Better fair weather ones because they didn't make my feet sweat like crazy.
