Has anyone any experience with Tactical Inovation 1022 receivers? They come with an AR15 style charge handle and have an integrated Picatinny rail. Questar can get them in different colours.https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopexd.asp?id=2264&bc=no

I have never tried one. They look cool, but I read some really bad reviews a few years ago that put me off. Also, the charging handle location would require a very high scope mount, similar to an AR.

If you are looking for a left side charging handle, this Tandemkross charging handle/rail works really well:

i think that is the first time a gun of mine has ever been tossed into a random pic post, kinda surprising and fun to see all at once!

ive always been very interesting in those but every person ive met that has built off one and all the reviews i find online are damning.
no one seems to have consistent function with them and everyone complains about having optics and not being able to get to the charging handle.

but damn they seem like they would be a sweet receiver!

That titan looks cool. I really like the look of that receiver as well - but it seems to me that a quick google will reveal anyone but the makers seem to not be overly happy with them. Good with a red dot only. I guess for a trainer to save money on .223 it makes some kinda sense sorta....

I went to pay for my build and they are now out of bolt buffer and take down screws....so the build will not be complete. I will pay when they have more stock I guess. I do have 'squirrel' syndrome though lol.

I got your picture from google images by typing in Boyds pro varmint 10/22
Your fine rifle is the second picture shown.
You put it up on rimfire central under Northern Wolf Dude in your first post.
I recognized it from here as being one of yours. To me you are living proof that the addiction is real, and it's a good thing.
( I bet you have helped many of us justify a second 10/22 )
I thought you might chime in upon seeing it.
Thanks for not being mad.:)
Have a Great One!

stalker much!!!!!
hahahahaha

Have no experience with the DAR22 however I have replaced the bolt with the Dlask part and it is amazing. Very happy with it, no issues with it. It is a big upgrade over the original and looks fantastic. Also installed their extended charge handle. Very impressed.

I'm curious, in what way did you find the Dlask bolt "amazing" in comparison to the stock Ruger bolt? Was it just the better finishing and machining, or did you notice a functional difference?

The picture of the stock Ruger bolt is deceptive, it looks shiny and nicely finished, but actually displays a crude cast finish everywhere not visible when installed. It also lacks the forward cross pin to control firing pin rise, a feature found on most decent aftermarket bolts.

I just stumbled over that Victor Titan stock the other day and thought it looked about right for features and ergos.

Unless one of those chassis systems support the action better. Certainly wouldn't say no to something AR-ish from the comfort standpoint

I run into pics of my builds all over the internet, the first time it surprised me... what really surprised me was when a scammer tried to sell me a gun I had built and still had in my cabinet using copied pictures that I had taken of it and posted on RFC... ballsy.

Just a quick update, if anyone cares. The KIDD ULW did pretty well on it's break in/scope zeroing...it's not going to shame any Anschutz owners, but for what it is, it's pretty respectable!

It liked Eley Team best of what I had with me, and my four-diamond target sheet recorded groups of 0.291", 0.355", 0.487", and 0.530" in a light breeze off the bipod, with a 3-9 Leupold VX-2 Rimfire EFR.

Talk to Leigh,

He’s built a couple for me. You won’t be disappointed. Kidd single stage trigger is a must also get the Kidd charging handle that is pretty sweet as well. I have zero issues with feeding and the Dlask barrel is plenty accurate. Gopher headshot 100 yards out all day long.

Here’s a more basic build for my son.

I pretty much think this is the best looking 10/22 I have ever seen, beautiful and practical all in one package. Well done you!
