info on it would be really great i want to build a ar15 but not sure what stripped lower to choose either the dar 701 or the bushmaster what gives me more options?

a lower is a lower. all ABCD brands are pretty much the same. do a search on DLask to answer your questions.

some rave about them, some rant. i personally have a lower from them, good for me. some had various issues, more so with the other parts.

all AR lowers will swap with all other AR parts 99.8% of the time.

Most lowers are pretty much the same, some colour variation from maker to maker,so you have to be careful if you mix/match uppers and lowers as it will make a slightly two tone rifle.
there is a thead on here somewhere about Dlask lowers.IIRC it was about them having a slightly thicker anodizing and the mags fitting really tight.
But more important, what you put in the lower.

I had a Dlask lower that needed the magazine well relieved by machining to get magazines to fit. It was machined under spec. Some of the early Dlask lowers were powder coated and they were a tight fit even though they were machined correctly.

Eagle Arms, Bushmaster, Stag, and even Olympic lowers have never presented this problem to me.

I think that the quality of his lowers are better than earlier ones, they have M16 style (FA) open cuts (unlike US made lowers) and are easy to work on. Lotsa people diss them here but the quality of machining and finish is good.

For a recreational firearm they are more than adequate.
